Don't miss our fabulous year-end celebration and Silent Auction which helps secure the rich cultural diversity at Puerta Abierta Preschool.

What is it? The children put on a fabulous presentation. Each family brings delicious food from their diverse cultures and items for the silent auction. Many of you will take home some great items from the auction.

What is it for? To get to know other Puerta Abierta parents and learn more about our kids' wonderful school. To raise scholarship money to foster the wonderful bilingual environment our children enjoy every day at school. ( many students' families need assistance but don't qualify for state aid)

What Can We Do? We need the help of every Puerta Abierta parent. Sign up on the Subasta Committee Sheet on the bulletin board. Our current needs are marketing, donation solicitation, communication and entertainment. Please contact Rina Campbell at 847-424-9137 if you have talents or services in these areas.

On the event day, May 18, we need help with set up, food service, and clean up.

Please sign up for your preference or you will be assigned to a committee and contacted.

Our urgent need now is to find a larger location. Of you have suggestions or connections to a site that can accommodate 300 or more people for a good cause or nominal price, please let Maria or Lee know ASAP ( call & leave a message at 847-328-1491).
