Don't miss our fabulous year-end celebration and Silent Auction which helps secure the rich cultural diversity at Puerta Abierta Preschool.

What is it? The children put on a fabulous presentation. Each family brings delicious food from their diverse cultures and items for the silent auction. Many of you will take home some great items from the auction.

What is it for? To get to know other Puerta Abierta parents and learn more about our kids' wonderful school. To raise scholarship money to foster the wonderful bilingual environment our children enjoy every day at school. ( many students' families need assistance but don't qualify for state aid)

What Can We Do? We need the help of every Puerta Abierta parent. Sign up on the Subasta Committee Sheet on the bulletin board. Our current needs are marketing, donation solicitation, communication and entertainment. Please contact Rina Campbell at 847-424-9137 if you have talents or services in these areas.

On the event day, May 18, we need help with set up, food service, and clean up.

Please sign up for your preference or you will be assigned to a committee and contacted.

Our urgent need now is to find a larger location. Of you have suggestions or connections to a site that can accommodate 300 or more people for a good cause or nominal price, please let Maria or Lee know ASAP ( call & leave a message at 847-328-1491).

No Falte a nuestra fabulosa celebracion de fin de ano y la subasta silenciosa que ayudara a asegurar la rica diversidad cultural de pre-escuela en Puerta Abierta.

Que Es? Los ninos presentan una actuacion fabulosa. Cada familia trae platos deliciosos de sus diversas culturas y objetos para la subasta silenciosa. Muchos de ustedes llevaran a sus hogares grandes recuerdos de la subasta.

Que Podemos Hacer? Necesitamos la ayuda de todos los padres y madres de Puerta Abierta. Inscribase en la hoja del comite de le subasta ubicado en el boletin de informacion. Actualmente necesitamos: Planeamiento de mercadeo, solicitacion de donaciones, comunicacion y entretenimiento.(Por favor contacte Natalie Tsagaroulis al 847-778-8443 si usted tiene talento o experiencia en estas areas).

En el dia del evento, Mayo 18, necesitaremos su ayuda para el arreglo de mesas y sillas, servir alimentos y limpienza. Por favor firme por su preferencia, si no usted sera asigando a un comite e informado.

Nuestra urgente necesidad ahora es encontrar un local mas amplio. Si tuviera alguna sugerencia o coneccion para un lugar que puede acomodar de 300 a 400 personas, para una causa y/o un precio nominal, por favor comuniquele a Maria, o Lee tan pronto como sea posible (llame y deje un mensaje al # 847-328-1491).
